Argentina, it was the week-end where the National Specialty show took place.
In total were 4 shows, 2 each days, I was there with 4 of my dogs.

Resume of JUNE in Europe...
Since June 4th I'm having vacations in Europe, but as it can't be in another way DOGS are always in my head.
June 11th I arrive in Denmark, where I meet Tony, Oddrun, Dorrit and CH. LITTLE RICHARD TAS von Portenschlag again, the photos of that week-end were already published (see older news below).
I had just one week to get to know Rikki again, but as super as he is we were ready to go to OUR first show together!
That was in Sweden, Triple show Jönköping. This was June 19th and 20th.
On Saturday the judge was Molin Nils from Sweden, I was showing Rikki in Open Class, as he would just need one CAC to became Swedish Champion. The result this day was EXCELLENT and placed 2nd in the class, and later 3rd BEST MALE (out of 15). Nothing bad for "our debut".
Judgment Critics:
A very nive build dog, beautyful head, Well placed shoulders, excellent body substance, Moving with good long steps, Good coat texture and colour.
On Sunday the Judge was Javier Sanchez, from Spain, for this judge Rikki needed "more temperament in the ring", even Rikki was showing himself perfectly and happy for being there just in our second time together, anyway, the result was EXCELLENT without placement.
Judgment Critics:
Very nice dog. Good size and Proportions. Excellent body substance. Good eyes and ears. I would like him to show a bit more temperament in the ring. Good coat and color. Moves Ok." |

This week-end I had a very nice surprise, I had meet Ewa-Marie, from kennel Falkendal's, who owns "TIME WILL TELL de Trufas Negras" (Carmen), then I could see this young "girl again,after some months, It was very nice short meeting, where I could see Carmen loves her new "mother" as well Ewa-Marie likes Carmen. I could take some new photos of Carmen who is nearly ready to go to shows, SOON!
She is now 16 months old, and a very nice female, with the great movement of her father "IMPOSING de Trufas Negras".

| This days in Sweden were really nice, I went there together with my friend Tony (kennel Barba Nigra, DK) and we meet a friend of her Kari (kennel Prazzlas) with who we went saturday evening to a very nice "trip" around in Sweden, we discovered a really lovely place, and I enjoyed very much to walk around with the dogs and taking pictures to nature. |

That was NOT all from this week-end in Sweden, I meet again Chottis (kennel Chottan's) and off course it was nice to see live her beautiful dogs at the show... But there was not only that, there was waitting for me a little one "CHOTTAN'S SWEDISH DESIGN" -
Then my first Black & Silver female is with me since that week-end... She is just 3 months old, and a very smart funny puppy, who enjoys her life as there nothing else in the world than her. She had eaten half of the beard from Rikki playing together during the week, but both seems to be happy ;-)

The following week was quite calm, making Rikki and ourselves ready to go to Herning, where it took place the World Dog Show...
in the mean while I had time to walk around, and take some pictures of the beautiful summer in Denmark, some pictures to enjoy in my Facebook album...

Friday 25th Tony, her husband Uwe, Rikki and I were on the way to Herning, there we meet a lot of people in the hotel, and had a nice relaxing evening :)
On saturday it was the SPECIALTY SHOW, and we were there to show Rikki, and Juffe (a young male from Tony's breeding, Barba Nigra My Boy Lollipop who was BIS Junior)...
This time was Tony in the ring with Rikki, as I would love to see him from "outside" this I have never had the chance! And he looks SOOOO Beautiful! And no meaning only because he is my dog! He always looks perfect! |
The judge this day was Pia Lundberg from Sweden, Rikki was entered in Champion Class.
The result was EXCELLENT and 2nd Best in Champion class.
Judgment Critics:
Very attractive two years old champion, beautiful head, fine topline, could be deper in the brest, showing very well, in a good coat and condition

This day was on visit at the show "QUINTESSENCE de Trufas Negras", as Estelle and Gill (Estellet's kennel) were showing their Standard Schnauzers there, the little "Bella" was also together with them, then I could see her again afer one year, since I delivered her in Denmark to Gill...
It was very nice to meet Gill, Estelle and Bella again.
We had some time for a little grooming and new pictures to Bella, who is now going to start to be shown in Sweden.
She's now 22 months old.

Sunday 27th, then It was time for the World Dog Show, and here I was showing Rikki again, 13 males in Champion class, and all hoping for the best.
The World Winner title and BOB went to CH Djakarta's Isn't It, (who was also BOB at Cruft's).
Rikki got an EXCELLENT and I was VERY HAPPY to be showing him at that show!

04.06.10 - Just arrived in Europe...
The following dogs had meet their new owners, we were coming together in the flight, and I had luck to meet personaly new owners of at least 2 of them, Charlotte Orre from Sweden and Marion and Dirk Vogler from Germany, we meet just shortly in the Airport in France, and Silvia, who came with me from Buenos Aires had the trip to Poland to deliver "Hero", the black beauty, to Maria who she meet in Varsaw.
After few hours driving Marion and Dirk got to Germany with Zophia and Zephyrus, were Zophia meet Margot, his new onwer, who is now learning herself some spanish to teach the dog some of his mother language, hahaha!
I wish all new owners a lot of joy with their new dogs...

"Wendy" ... was my first Schnauzer, she came home in August 1998, she was just 3,5 months old, and I was only 11 yrs old... Off course I MUST say that it was JUST because of her that I started to love this breed, and in a very crazy way, that I became a mad dog-lover, I always wanted to have a litter of giants, but it took me about 3 years to find a male who fits her, and when I did (he was germany male, with a great temperament) we mated her, but she was not pregnant, one year later she had an uterus infection (at her age of 4 years old) and my dream to have a puppy after her was totaly over...
But many new dreams later came true... Thank you WENDY for gave me your best years and make me happy for nearly 12 years =) |

Today I've got from Peru some lovely photos of the only female in litter "S" - Jr CH Scarlet O'Hara de Trufas Negras.
She is now 15 months old and is ready for the new year on shows.... 
Last year in her debut show at 12 months old winnig already BOB x2 and BOS x2 over adult dogs and Junior champion title.
I wish Chaska and her owner the best luck for 2010!

After a LONG time waiting, Evita and Vivaldi were ready to be sent to AUSTRALIA!
They arrived in Sydney last feb 11th
and went to quarantine, now they must wait 4 weeks to be ready to move to their new home.

YEAR'S RESUME 2009!
| This year had been really interesting for me with dogs, as my very first Blackand Silver dog started his show career and the second Black/Silver arrived home from Germany.
It was quite interesting to try them in shows .

"Little Richard TAS von Portenschlag" had moved to Europe for a while, to make some shows, and I’m very happy that his quality had been really good appreciated already in many countries.
He started to be shown at the age of 10 months in Germany and ended up in Denmark.
During this period, March to November, he was living in Germany (kenel of Taita’s Ushabti) and in Denmark (Kennel Barba Nigra), and he achieved the following titles and prices. |

Richard has actually moved to Norway, where I hope he will be shown and father during 2010. He’ll stay there until I pick him up hopefully in June and bring him back home, where I miss him a lot. |
My other Black/Silver boy, “Johnny Be Good of Tait’as Ushabti” who arrived in April, started to be shown only at Specialty shows in Argentina.
In his debut in Junior class, he was honored with BEST IN SHOW at the National Specialty judged by Lydia Hutchinson. |

In Europe, "LET IT BE de Trufas Negras", who lives in SWEDEN and is owned by Yvonne Broberg, kennel New-Era, was shown also, and he already got his first CAC and BOS. He also passed the Swedish mentally test included shooting.
He is father of some litters already, and one of the babies had also debut in show with a good result. "SUCH HAZELNUT de Trufas Negras", who was "HUND-2008" and Swedish CH. last year, also lives in SWEDEN with Olga Oskarsson, was shown again this year winning Best of Breed and Best Opposite Sex and 2 CACIB in Sweden.
"KANDANCE de Trufas Negras", arrived in ICELAND in MAY, there she spent a month in quarantine, and after that was moved to her new home with Magret Asgeirsdottir, she was trainned and needed some time to get used to her new family, after few months she went to a show, at first with not much luck, and later EXCELLENT 2 - r.CAC x 2. - we are crossing our fingers for her during next year... "UNLIMITED de Trufas Negras", now co-owned with Iza Podolska, kennel Dolina Rivendell in POLAND, had his show debut as puppy, with Best of Breed puppy and Best in Show-3 puppy ! Females who were proud mothers!
"KALLIOPE de Trufas Negras", living in FINLAND and owned by Heli Lillbacka, kennel Xtravaschnauza.
"GREEK MAJESTY de Trufas Negras", living in DENMARK and owned by Grethe Hansen, kennel Soliman.
During the year were born a total of 14 PS puppies in 4 different litters, 7 of them found home in different countries... France, Sweden, Germany, Poland... 4 stays at home and 3 are living in pet homes near me.

I was very happy this year because my FIRST black litter was born last februay, and wow, what a litter! I must say I like them all very much, all of them had found nice homes after all, and the first one had debut in shows as young in Germany!

Critics: Medium size male with squared building. Dark black coat, hard and in good conditions. A little brownish on legs. Long head with dark oval eyes. Excellent ears set. Good proportion ribcage for the age. Correct angulations. Very good movement with drive. Topline a little broken in stay and movement. Easy mind and friendly temper.

In Memoriam...
I cannot close the year without a “Little” HOMAGE to the most important person in my life.
And she must be here because she is the reason I have Miniature Schnauzer.
It’s MY SISTER, whom I lost in November, and I will never forget and stop missing her. |

It was her first mini the basis of our breeding today, and it is because of my sister’s help that my dogs looks like they are today, because her critical eye for choosing the balance between what I like and she liked is what made “Trufas Negras”.
Her personal companion dogs were our first females “Nice Dog Ambar” (NICOLE) – her daughter, “Charming Miracle de Trufas Negras” (CHARIS) – and a son of CHARIS “Frank Sinatra de Trufas Negras”…. Also Standards are due to her in my life, the first Standard, “DONNA”, her BODYGUARD. They all live with my mother now.
Those were the dogs she chose for breeding, and you can find them in most pedigrees on my dogs, Worldwide.
